Coyote

Inspired in equal parts by Road Runner cartoons and a detonator used in a 1923 train robbery, and now in the collection of the Smithsonian, Coyote investigates cartoon violence, fanaticism, self destruction, and the ambivalent cultural standing of the Western outlaw.

Interactive installation: mixed media and lighting components. Installed at WorkSound, Portland OR 2008.
